Accommodation

You may have noticed that the drive into Denmark Chocolate Company has changed recently.

For those who are first time visitors… the road is a little wider, the dam is now visible, a few trees have gone and there is machinery parked on our paddock.

Wine Tree Estate is expanding, with development planned for four short-term accommodation chalets and a main residence. This is a two-stage development plan with the house and two chalets scheduled to be completed this year.

Wine Tree Estate Chalets

Our first chalet is a one-bedroom spa suite featuring a fully self-contained kitchen, lounge room, separate bedroom with plenty of wardrobe space and a king-size bed as well as a luxurious bathroom. The bathroom will be exceptional with a wall of one-way glass and a spa big enough for two to enjoy the breathtaking views over the forest.

The second chalet is a two-bedroom self-contained unit featuring an open kitchen, dining and lounge space, wheelchair-accessible bathroom, two bedrooms each with queen size beds, and a large veranda with stunning views of the forest.

The third and fourth chalets will be two bedrooms with ensuites, featuring an open kitchen, dining and lounge with direct access to a veranda from each room.

Wine Tree Estate Chalets are designed to coexist with the natural environment, operating completely off-grid through solar energy, rainwater and wastewater treatment plant. Guests will be able to adjust temperatures with their individually controlled air-conditioners in the bedrooms and Rinnai gas heaters in the living areas, making these the ideal accommodation all year round.

The chalets will be arriving as prefabricated modules with the first two due to arrive in October/ November.  We will then take time to add the final touches including providing luxury furnishings and flowering native gardens.

When will the chalets be ready to book?

We aim to have the first two chalets ready to book for this Christmas however keep an eye on this website as we will be providing further details as we progress.

To register your interest in updates on the chalets and be advised when bookings become available, please email us at hello@winetreeestate.com.au.

What does that mean for Denmark Chocolate Company?

We will still continue to operate as per usual.  Our contractors will do most of the work whilst we are closed on Tuesdays and Wednesdays but from time to time there may be a little bit of noise outside. We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause.

Our gardener will be expanding the garden around the eastern side of the Denmark Chocolate Company building and adding more wisteria arches. We will also be planting more native flowering plants and some wine trees in various locations around the property.   By the time we finish, there will be more gardens and flowers for you and our native birds & bees to enjoy when visiting.

We hope you enjoy watching our journey of transformation.

For more details please do not hesitate to ask Christine or Dave during your visit or follow us on our social media sites.
